The Edelweiss Performance Unicore is a multi-rated rope hybrid, able to be used as a single, twin or half. Constructed with Edelweiss' 'Supereverdry' treatment, the Performance Unicore is water and abrasion resistant, combining safety and durability in alpine terrain. Perfect for many uses, the Performance particularly excels at trad, ice and alpine disciplines.
Features
- Supereverdry: Treatment to repel water, dust and dirt - ropes are lighter, dry quicker and don't tend to stiffen when the temperatures drop. This treatment is applied to all fibres throughout the core and sheath.
- Unicore: Bonds the ropes core and sheath without affecting suppleness or usability. Sheath slippage is therefore suppressed, if the sheath is damaged it will remain bound to the core - allowing the user to escape the system.
