The Alugator Pro Light is a lightweight avalanche shovel from Mammut. It weighs less than a small cola and can fit into any small daypack. Don't let the lightweight nature of it scare you from its durability. It still adheres to the same performance/durability tests as all of Mammut's shovels, and they are intense.
The sharpened, tilt-proof blade is made of ultra-robust anodized aluminium, while the attachment holes mean it is easier and faster to construct a snow anchor or rescue sled. The shovel's telescopic shaft has an oval profile. This makes the Alugator Light even more robust.
